Product lineup

7 product types in the SPC portfolio

Alpha Series

Coverage High-pressure / high-temperature: the Alpha housing carries the same two ratings as the rest of the line — 232 psig (16 barg) at 176°F with automatic drains, 300 psig (20.7 barg) at 248°F with manual drains. No high-capacity floor-standing or hazardous-location carbon variant. NOTE: the prior Product Type Specs text named the carbon element 'XA' — per the Walker datasheet, XA is the 0.01-micron coalescing grade; the activated-carbon grade is designated AC. The grade name has been corrected.

Walker's Alpha Series carries the activated-carbon stage as the AC grade — carbon adsorption media that removes gaseous oil vapor and odor, rated to an oil carryover of 0.003 ppm, the lowest of any Alpha grade. The AC grade installs as the final stage on the same Alpha housing standard used for the X5 particulate and XA coalescing grades, so a full Class 1 oil train can be built on one housing platform. Per Walker's datasheet, the carbon grade must not run in oil-saturated conditions — it requires upstream coalescing to protect it. Elements are color-coded (AC black) for correct field replacement.

Why Walker Filtration here Walker Filtration is a compressed-air-filtration specialist, and the Alpha AC grade is the only oil-vapor-removal stage in the SPC filtration portfolio — the carbon polish a coalescing filter physically cannot provide. It carries Walker's published, third-party-validated performance data and shares the Alpha housing with the particulate and coalescing grades, so a food-contact, pharmaceutical, breathing-air, or electronics customer can document a complete oil-vapor-clean train from one brand.

Alpha Series

Coverage High-pressure / high-temperature: the Alpha housing carries two ratings — 232 psig (16 barg) at 176°F with automatic drains, and 300 psig (20.7 barg) at 248°F when supplied with manual drain valves. Higher-pressure or hotter service selects the manual-drain configuration. Specialty media: an Alpha Silicone-Free coalescing variant is offered for paint-shop and critical-coating air where silicone carryover causes finish defects. No hazardous-location (Class 1 Div 1) variant.

Walker's Alpha Series is the coalescing line in the SPC portfolio. Coalescing duty is the X1 grade (1 micron, oil carryover to 0.3 ppm) and the XA grade (0.01 micron, oil carryover to 0.01 ppm — the deep-coalescing stage of an ISO 8573-1 Class 1 air train). Each grade is third-party tested with published, auditor-ready performance data, and the range spans 19 models from 6 to 1,500 SCFM across 1/8" to 3" connections. Elements are color-coded by grade (X1 red, XA blue) for correct field replacement. Walker is the Atlas Copco filtration subsidiary, so the published ISO 8573-1 test data is backed by Atlas Copco engineering resources.

Why Walker Filtration here Walker Filtration is a compressed-air-filtration specialist whose Alpha coalescing grades ship with published, third-party-validated ISO 8573-1 test data — the documentation a quality auditor in pharma, food, electronics, or medical work asks to see. The XA grade reaches Class 1 oil (0.01 mg/m3), and the same Alpha platform carries particulate, carbon, and sterile grades, so a customer can build a fully documented multi-stage train from one brand on one housing standard.

PRODRY [VERIFY — current Walker US site lists this heatless line as PROSFD; PRODRY appears only on legacy/AUS/GB datasheets]. Models PD004-PD035 (smaller capacity, to 232 PSIG) and PD0046-PD0360 (larger flow).

Coverage Heatless twin-tower regenerative desiccant only — no heated-purge or blower-purge variant in this line. Dew point options: -20°F, -40°F (activated alumina standard), and -100°F (molecular sieve fill). Smaller models PD004-PD035 are rated to 232 PSIG, effectively a built-in high-pressure capability; larger models run lower (45-360 SCFM tier ~188 PSIG). No hazardous-location variant offered. Series naming PRODRY vs PROSFD [VERIFY].

Heatless twin-tower regenerative desiccant dryers achieving -40°F to -100°F pressure dew point (-20°F, -40°F and -100°F dew point options available). Activated alumina media standard for -40°F duty; molecular sieve fill for -100°F applications. Smaller-capacity models rated to 232 PSIG. Supplied with the matched coalescing pre-filtration Walker is built around, so the mandatory upstream protection comes from a single source. Note: current Walker Filtration US-site product naming for this heatless line is PROSFD; the PRODRY name appears on legacy and non-US datasheets — confirm the correct series name before publishing. [VERIFY]

Why Walker Filtration here Walker is SPC's compressed-air filtration specialist, and PRODRY pairs the desiccant dryer with Walker's own ISO 8573-1 certified coalescing pre-filtration as one engineered package — the pre-filter that protects the desiccant bed and the dryer come from the same brand, with documented filtration test data behind it.

Alpha Medical Sterile Filters

Coverage The range covers medical-air sterile duty across its 19 connection-size models. Walker also offers a Medical Sterile Oxygen variant for oxygen-service sterile filtration, and a PRO MV-series medical-vacuum filter for the vacuum side of a medical-gas system — adjacent specialty configurations on the same medical platform. No hazardous-location (Class 1 Div 1) variant.

Walker's Alpha Medical Sterile Filter range is the sterile-grade final stage for medical breathing air — it delivers air free from live bacteria and other sub-micron particles to internationally certified medical performance levels. The range is offered in 19 models with connection sizes from 1/8" to 3" (NPT, BSP parallel and taper), with flow capacities up to 1,500 SCFM, a maximum operating pressure up to 300 psig, and a maximum temperature of 248°F. Sterile elements are guaranteed for a minimum of 100 sterilization cycles at 248°F (120°C), so the housing can be repeatedly steam-sterilized in service.

Why Walker Filtration here Walker Filtration's Alpha Medical Sterile line is the only sterile-grade filtration in the SPC launch portfolio — the stage that takes a medical-air train to NFPA 99 by removing microorganisms after particulate, coalescing, and carbon. Its elements are validated for repeated steam sterilization and certified to medical performance levels, and the medical, oxygen, and vacuum variants let SPC serve a complete medical-gas system from one specialist brand.

SmartSep (SSEP) Series — models SSEP0032M through SSEP6621

Coverage 9 models: SSEP0032M, SSEP0066M, SSEP0132, SSEP0225, SSEP0450, SSEP0795, SSEP1655, SSEP3311, SSEP6621. Flow capacity 54 Nm3/hr (32 SCFM) up to 11,250 Nm3/hr (6621 SCFM); rated with dryer & filters 43-8998 Nm3/hr. Connections 6mm/10mm (1/4"-3/8") on the two smallest single-use units, scaling to 2 x 3/4" condensate inlet on larger units. Metric (M) connections standard; imperial (N) option available. SSEP0032M/SSEP0066M are single-use; SSEP0132-SSEP1655 dual-stage filtration; SSEP3311 multi-stage; SSEP6621 ships with a flow divider to split flow between two units.

Multi-stage filtration separates oil and water down to as low as 5 mg/m3 residual oil. Exclusive Organoclay cartridges eliminate stable emulsions and heavy oil traces to stay ahead of current and future environmental regulations. 4,000-hour service interval indicator plus a Smart Service Overflow Indicator (red) and saturation indicator (green) eliminate costly external service testing. External test valve verifies filtration performance between service intervals. Swappable polypropylene bags and cartridges; manifold inlets (SSEPM1/SSEPM2) for multiple condensate lines; wall mounting kit (SSEPMBK1) for small systems. Service kits available per model (SSEPSKxxxx). Capacities rated at 12 hr/day, 60% RH, 25C/77F, 7 barg; correction factors apply for humidity, ambient temperature, and running hours.

Why Walker Filtration here Walker Filtration's SmartSep series separates oil and water down to as low as 5 mg/m³ residual oil — well inside the regulatory discharge limit — using exclusive Organoclay cartridges that break stable emulsions and capture heavy oil traces. Its standout is built-in service visibility: a 4,000-hour interval indicator, a red overflow indicator, a green saturation indicator, and an external test valve let a customer verify performance between service intervals without paying for outside lab testing. The 9-model range spans 32 to 6,621 SCFM, and as the Atlas Copco filtration subsidiary, Walker keeps the SmartSep on the same brand standard as its Alpha filtration line — letting SPC put the separator and the filter train on one documented brand.

Alpha Series

Coverage High-pressure / high-temperature: the Alpha housing carries two ratings — 232 psig (16 barg) at 176°F with automatic drains, and 300 psig (20.7 barg) at 248°F with manual drain valves. The deeper-rated configuration covers higher-pressure or hotter particulate-filtration service. No high-capacity floor-standing or hazardous-location variant in the Alpha particulate line.

Walker's Alpha Series covers dry-particulate duty with the X5 grade — 5 micron particle removal, particulate class to ISO 8573-1 Class 4 — used as the pre-filter that protects the more expensive coalescing element from solid loading, or as the after-filter that catches desiccant dust downstream of a dryer. The X5 element shares the Alpha housing with the X1, XA, and AC grades, so a particulate stage and a coalescing stage sit on the same housing standard. The range spans 19 models from 6 to 1,500 SCFM across 1/8" to 3" connections; elements are color-coded (X5 green) for correct field replacement.

Why Walker Filtration here Walker Filtration is a compressed-air-filtration specialist; its Alpha X5 particulate grade carries the same published, third-party-validated ISO 8573-1 test data as the rest of the Alpha range. That lets a particulate pre-filter or post-desiccant after-filter be documented to an air-quality class on the same housing platform a customer already runs for coalescing and carbon — one brand, one standard, auditor-ready data across the whole train.

Alpha Water Separators

Coverage The Alpha water-separator range covers bulk-liquid duty across its housing-size models, matched to the connection sizes of the wider Alpha line. No high-pressure, high-temperature, or hazardous-location specialty variant identified — standard centrifugal-separator configuration only. [VERIFY] the Alpha Water Separator model-by-model flow ranges and pressure rating against the Walker Filtration water-separator datasheet — the centrifugal design and automatic-float-drain standard are confirmed; per-model figures were not.

Walker's Alpha Water Separator range strips bulk free liquid water from the compressed air stream by proven centrifugal separation — the heavier liquid is spun out of the air before it reaches the dryer and the fine filtration train. Separators are fitted as standard with normally-open, float-operated automatic drain valves, so collected water discharges without operator attention. They share the Alpha housing design family, so a water separator and the downstream filter stages sit on a consistent housing standard.

Why Walker Filtration here Walker Filtration is a compressed-air-treatment specialist, and its Alpha Water Separator gives SPC the bulk-liquid knockout stage that protects the dryer and filter train from being overloaded with free water — on the same Alpha housing standard as the particulate, coalescing, carbon, and sterile stages. One brand covers the whole treatment chain from the wet receiver through to sterile air, with the automatic float drain handling the collected water unattended.
