Quincy QR-25

Coverage QR-25 single-stage and two-stage, ~1-25 HP, 3-95 SCFM; tank-mounted simplex units. Pressure-lubricated cast-iron pump. Larger reciprocating frames exist in the Quincy catalog beyond the QR-25 but the QR-25 is the core launch range.

Quincy's QR-25 is a pressure-lubricated cast-iron reciprocating compressor built in Bay Minette, Alabama, offered single-stage and two-stage from roughly 1-25 HP with a 3-95 SCFM range. It is pressure-lubricated in all critical bearing areas (rather than splash-lubricated) and runs at slower pump speeds, which is what gives it its long-service-life reputation; components are rebuildable and the line carries a five-year warranty.

Why Quincy here Quincy is the heritage reciprocating name engineers ask for by name — US-built, pressure-lubricated, five-year warranty. The QR-25 reaches SPC through the AC Secondary Business Unit channel as a full line with no parts-supply friction, so the DC channel can quote a brand-loyal customer the exact compressor they request and still own the aftermarket.

Quincy QGS

Coverage QGS fixed-speed oil-injected rotary screw ~5-100 HP; belt-drive 5-30 HP, gear-driven 40 HP and up; base-mounted and tank-mounted, optional integrated dryer. VSD is the separate QGSV line, covered by the VFD product type.

Quincy's QGS is the fixed-speed oil-injected rotary screw line, offered roughly 5-100 HP. Within that span 5-30 HP units are belt-drive and 40 HP and up are gear-driven (direct transmission); units are available base-mounted and tank-mounted, with optional integrated refrigerated dryer. The QGS is the volume continuous-duty Quincy compressor below the larger Quincy screw frames.

Why Quincy here Quincy is a heritage US compressor name engineers ask for, and the QGS gives the DC channel that brand on a fixed-speed rotary screw across the full 5-100 HP shop range. It reaches SPC through the AC Secondary Business Unit channel as a full line with no parts-supply friction.
